Identification

Collingwood and Agosti (1996) - This species and Cataglyphis isis, Cataglyphis laevior, and Cataglyphis flavobrunnea are distinguished from others in the C. bicolor group by the shorter funiculus segments, the high narrow petiole, the long, slit-shaped propodeal spiracle and the extremely flat propodeum of small workers.
