    • Type-material: 3 syntype major workers, 1 syntype minor worker.
    • Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Belgian Congo”): between Leopoldville (= Kinshasa) and Yumbi, “on fire-wood aboard boat” (H.O. Lang & J.P. Chapin).
    • Type-depository: MCZC.
    • Combination in C. (Myrmisolepis): Emery, 1925b: 134;
    • combination in C. (Myrmopelta): Santschi, 1926a: 21.
    • Status as species: Emery, 1925b: 134.
