Salata & Fisher (2020) report this species was collected between 30–1732 m elevation, in Uapaca woodland, montane rainforest, tropical dry forest, savanna and woodland, gallery forest and rainforest. Nests were located in rotten logs, in the soil, and under stones. Workers were collected from sifted litter.
