- bicarinatus. Cyphomyrmex bicarinatus Snelling, R.R. & Longino, 1992: 492, figs. 1, 10, 19 (w.q.) COLOMBIA.
- Type-material: holotype worker, 45 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen.
- Type-locality: holotype Colombia: Magdalena Prov., Cincinnati, 1300 m., ii.1924 (W.M. Mann); paratypes: with same data, and “additional paratypes” Colombia: Magdalena, 2 km. NW San Pedro, 1200 m., 10°55’N, 74°03’W, 16.viii.1985 (J. Longino).
- Type-depositories: USNM (holotype); JTLC, LACM, MCZC, USNM (paratypes).
- Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 167; Fernández & Serna, 2019: 850.
- Distribution: Colombia.
